When Christa, a Southbay Realtor with Keller Williams and owner of Adaptable Motions contacted me and described her vision for this session, admittedly I was both nervous and absolutely ecstatic. I had always wanted to do a photo shoot that involved airplanes! We got to know each other a little bit when we first did a branding session for her businesses, and planned the family session. It took us a few weeks to coordinate, as scheduling conflicts pushed our session further out.
On this beautiful early December evening, we finally came together to make it happen and I met husband John, an engineer at SpaceX and owner at West Coast Aerosport. WCA is a flight school specializing in flying and teaching Tailwheel, Spin and Recovery and Aerobatics. The plane you see featured in the photos is a World War II Training Aircraft, The Stearman and it is available for rent by the hour and with instructor through WCA.
Now back to the photos.. I couldn't have asked for more perfect kiddos! They took direction perfect and brought tons of genuine smiles and laughs. We were able shoot both inside the hanger, and brought the plane outside to serve as the perfect backdrop along with the runway. I've selected a few of my favorite images to highlight here, but truly that was a difficult choice because I have an entire gallery of gems.
Enjoy, and if you are ever in need of a Real Estate, Occupational Therapy or Aeronautical professional, reach out to Christa and John!
